Founder, Moriah Owens, gathered together fellow Oklahomans who truly believe in "helping thy neighbor" to help provide resources to equine owners. The result was the incorporation of Helping Hands Equine Assistance in August of 2014.
Helping Hands Equine Assistance is a non-profit 501(c)(3) providing:
- Education and Information Sharing
- Auction Alternatives
- Hay and Feed Banks
- Rehoming Assistance
- Equine Identification
- Gelding and Euthanasia Assistance
- Disaster Recovery Assistance
It is human nature to help others during times of large disasters such as floods, tornados, and hurricanes. In our program, we help people who are experiencing their own private disaster such as loss of a job, an accident, or loss of a family member. Our organization helps people keep their equine until the storm passes.
